E-Waste recycling Since the last network event we have had a number of enquiries regarding e-waste opportunities for businesses. Our website will soon be updated to include a guide for E-Waste Recycling in the Barwon Region. In the mean time the link below will provide you with some options for e-waste recycling. Did you Know? Fact: Cathode ray tube (CRT) monitors contain high levels of toxic materials that need to be disposed of responsibly. When dumped in our landfills the materials and chemical components used to make computer equipment such as lead, mercury, cadmium and arsenic can leach into and harm our environment. Fact: Not only do discarded cartridges take up landfill space, but the production of new cartridges requires significantly more resources and energy than remanufacturing used ones. Empty cartridges, as well as photocopier toner bottles, are a valuable resource which can be reused over and over again. - Monash Green Office ProgramClick here for web link
