We have all seen the success of household recycling; now businesses are taking that same approach and action into the workplace.

 

The Waste Wise Geelong Network is an exciting partnership Program that brings businesses together to learn how to be Waste Wise as well as acting as a catalyst to share information, knowledge and skills with other environmentally committed businesses. It is creating an environment movement in the Geelong area that will lead to a more sustainable and ‘low waste’ Geelong.

 

It is about using the network to reduce waste within the workplace and to become Waste Wise Certified for the benefit of your business and the environment. By following five simple steps, you can understand the waste you make and take easy actions to reduce it. The Program is run in partnership between Sustainability Victoria, Barwon Regional Waste Management Group, Geelong Chamber of Commerce and the City of Greater Geelong.
